| The showroom is a result of the conversion of an old building, with the original function of dwelling. During the project, the first step was to correct the shape of the volume, the previous diffuse contour being replaced by a more powerful, better defined one. Following this action, a number of free spaces have resulted, developed vertically, on several levels.
These spaces have been glazed, allowing, this way, the exposure of large size lamps. |
At the interior the intention was to create a contrast between the “cold” area of the showcase and the “warm” interior.
Thereby, the exhibition space is glazed and completed with neutral elements, made from perforated sheets, colored black, allowing the exposed elements to stand out. At the interior, the presence of low ceilings represented a good pretext to create a domestic atmosphere, both these and the walls being plated with wood. |
